I feel like the health of my hair has improved a lot over this past year along with retaining a lot of length in the front of my hair. The back of my hair grows really fast so I’ve had to cut it a lot over the years so that it doesn’t look like I have a rat tail lol.
**I had to reupload this video due to issues with my music.** [___________________________________________]
Straightening my hair in December is sort of a little tradition for me. ☃️ I use @chihaircare ‘s heat protectant, smoothing cream and silk infusion because I’m able to achieve a sleek look while still protecting my curls. [___________________________________________]
I believe that focusing on doing a good blowout makes the hair straightening process a lot easier. I use a hard bristle round brush with a ceramic center to stretch my hair focusing mainly on my roots and ends. I prefer doing the chase method with a soft bristle round brush rather than a rat tailed comb because unlike a rat tailed comb, the brush is able to gently stretch my hair. Think about the tension method. If it cuts down on the amount of heat you use when blow drying, it would probably do the same with a straightening iron. Using a round brush allows me to get great results with only one pass of my flat iron per section.
I trimmed my hair back a couple of months ago so my ends still look good and my hair has a full appearance from root to tip. ✨
#BeforeAndAfter SILKPRESS Angelica got her very first silkpress since going natural a few years ago... I’m glad she chose me.. she received my signature cocktail treatment.. To strengthen her hair and give her hair much needed moisture...
