This quote is so on spot right now! 💪🏾 Never have people been more aware of their footprint on this planet, including myself.
It is so important to understand the consequences of creating piles and piles of waste. The clothes you buy, who made them and what impacts on the planet did they have? The food you by, where did it come from? The plastic you consume can’t be degraded and all plastic that has ever been made are still on this planet in some form (much of it is in the ocean).
I know this might sound daunting and scary, but we have to take a good look at our own consumption to see if there’s anything that we can do/change to help the planet. However, there’s only so much that an individual can do. We also need to pressure governments and companies to make changes! This is why I’m voting in the European Elections this week - for a greener and more accepting Europe ❤️
I made a video a few months ago where I collected all my rubbish during one week. And oh boy was I in for a treat. It opened my eyes to the changes I need to make. Click on the link in my bio 👉🏾 @sustainablebiologist if you want to watch 👋🏾🤸🏼♀️
