Summer is almost upon the Northern Hemisphere. Which leads us into Summer crops (AKA foods). WATERmelon encourages us to rehydrate, calm down, nourish the heart, replenish the kidney and be proactive. Summertime is when we can nourish our heart and small intestines. Mother Nature with all her brilliance grows food that will proactively nourish our well being.
As inspired, take time to sit back enjoy a slice of watery melon and the smile that will rise up on your face.
Flesh with some of the white of the rind from one small watermelon
5 mint sprigs
2 tablespoons of Honey
2 teaspoons of Balsamic Vinegar
12 oz of coconut water
1/2 cup sprout and skinned almonds
Blend in a blender or food processor. Chill or enjoy at room temperature.
This was the most fun and least insecure I've been in a cosplay and... also just in general! It was a really amazing day full of really positive feelings! I don't know if it had to do with the pair-up looks with my friend, or the bright summer colors, but it was just so refreshing and nice to feel that way!
I won't lie and pretend my world is perfect. I'm human, make mistakes and fall down when life gets hard, but trust me when I say you have the strength and the worth to pull your feet back underneath you and say "I can make a better tomorrow." Whether that means following your dreams and never letting anybody stop you, or knowing you do have the worth and what it takes to get wherever you want to go. Never give up, because if you stop short on your path, you'll never know the beauty that waits farther along. It could be a few meters ahead, or a few miles, which is why you have to keep going no matter what!💚
